ROSE KUSHNER author, journalist and outspoken advocate for the rights of breast cancer patients died of breast cancer last January at age 59.
LEONORE SIEGELMAN, a longtime activist in promoting Black-Jewish relations, died in Washington last January at the age of 70. A retired economist with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, she founded the American-Israel Committee to Commemorate Martin Luther King Jr., and was scheduled to receive the 1990 Civil Rights Award at the fifth annual King commemoration at the Israel Embassy.
