A Safe House in Kenya

The Associated Press reports that Eve Ensler, author of “Vagina Monologues,” has financed a safe house for girls In Kenya. This country is one in which female circumcision, although now illegal, is still widely practiced. According to The World Health Organization, nearly 137 million women have been subjected to this mutilation.
