"Why are you silent?"
Tens of thousands of people are asking UN Women this critical question. The United Nations’ organization that allegedly fights to end sexual violence has still refused to condemn Hamas’ horrific sexual crimes on Oct. 7 or recognize that they even happened.
This silence prompted a group of Israeli women, including some with family members currently being held captive, to launch #MeToo_UNless_UR_a_Jew. The campaign’s goal is to gather one million signatures demanding that UN Women release a statement condemning Hamas’ human rights violations, and the terrorists’ sexual assaults against Israeli women and girls.

During wartime, this simple sign can be a lifesaver. Literally. Because when the Red Alert siren blares in the starless dark, you’ve got 90 seconds to run for cover – and once sheltered, you’re supposed to stay put for an additional ten minutes.
This simple homemade sign posted by @avigail73, a filmmaker, mom and activist who owns an apartment in that building, is so much more than a communal public service announcement. It’s an invitation. When scary danger ruptures the sky, come be with us. @ruthebenstein on the sign that brings her hope. Link in bio.

We hope you`ll think so too.
