The Re-Annotated Alice

Twenty years ago the film “The Annotated Alice” celebrated feisty Israeli feminist Alice Shalvi at 70. (More about Shalvi on page 25.) Now the same devoted documentarian, Paula Weiman-Kelman, has produced and directed “The Re-Annotated Alice” revealing Shalvi at 90, looking back, and also forward with joy and honesty, At 90, recovering from her husband’s death, Shalvi reflects on her regrets, and her undiminished appetite for music and literature and her enormous capacity for friendship. She’s still fighting for peace, women’s rights, and a just society. 30 minutes, in English and Hebrew with Hebrew subtitles.
