Tefillin Barbie

Bloggers have been going wild for Jen Taylor Friedman’s “Tefillin Barbie.” Taylor Friedman, a soferet (Torah scribe), posted the picture to her website, www.geniza.net, and soon the Internet was aflame, with the picture re-posted on blogs and websites, and responses that ranged from disgust to delight. Barbie comes complete with tallit, tefillin and Babylonian Talmud.
