A mini-museum memorializing Henrietta Szold, founder of Hadassah, organizer of Youth Aliyah, and a leader of the Yishuv (Jewish community in pre-state Israel), was dedicated on March 18, 1979, at the Hadassah Hebrew University Hospital on Mt. Scopus.
Szold’s life-work is depicted on two levels of a circular room in the hospital’s Ross Information Center. The lower level is furnished simply, as was Szold’s study while the upstairs is arranged as a gallery displaying mementos from the various activities and facets of her life. The inscription on the walls of the room states Szold’s philosophy: “There is no ending that is not a beginning.”
