Henrietta Jacobson, Chicago-born star of the Yiddish theater, whose career spanned 75 years, died in New York on October 9, 1988. She was 82-years old. Jacobson was the daughter, the wife and the mother of Yiddish actors.

Evelyn Wasserstrom of Kansas City, social activist and international president of B’nai Brith Women from 1978-80, died on September 1,1988.
