From Bogota to Beijing, from Jerusalem to Johannesburg, from Moscow to Mar del Plata, from New Zealand to New York, there are about 80 Limmud groups worldwide, organized by thousands of volunteers. Their objective is to gather for annual days of Jewish learning to enable individuals across denominations and other divides to go one step further on their Jewish journeys. Workshops, performances, discussion and more animate these highly participatory experiences. The flagship conference took place in England 37 years ago and continues to grow.
