At the Well

At the Well seeks to “connect women all around the world” through the wisdom found in ancient Jewish texts. Its Well Circles are groups of women around the world who use At the Well’s “Moon Manuals” to learn about different female leaders. They study the story of the biblical  Judith—named “One of the Baddest Biblical Babes“—read poems, cook, and learn meditation. The group also hosts retreats and workshops. Moon Manuals, one of the group’s core concepts, takes its name from the Jewish women’s traditional gatherings for Rosh Chodesh, centered around the new moon. Atthewellproject.com
